More screenprints

A new series of screenprints, based on street scenes. Not quite the true colours as my scanner took a dislike to fluorescent yellow and orange, its obviously not much of a raver.

Logos!

This summer my crazy brother Hugh is going to cycle coast to coast across America to raise money for Strathcarron hospice, a whopping 4000 miles in total! So in honour of this I have started to design him a wee logo to use whilst promoting himself. This is a very quick screen print I made recently as a starting point. I Think I may have to camp up the Scottishness a bit more for the sake of potential American sponsors!

Springtime Window

A few snaps of my spring time doodle and window display for Boxwood. The daffodils were maybe a bit premature considering the sleet and snow on the other side of the window as I slaved away with my chalk pen (dreaming of escaping to a sunnier climate).

Collage collage collage!!

Collage collage collage! A few examples of some preparation collages for installations from my sketchbooks. These have been made using tracing paper so that I could experiment with the effects of building up layers and use of light. Sorry about the slightly dodgy photograph quality... need to work on that!
